When the density was 195,000 plants/hm2, the highest leaf area index measured by the leaf area meter was 5.96. And can maintain a long time, can make full use of light energy, good ventilation and light transmission, so the highest output. At a density of 21.0 thousand plants/hm2, the leaf area index at the end of the crop period reached 7.39, and then declined rapidly at the fruit ripening stage. This was due to the fact that the density was too large and the shade was severe, resulting in premature leaf decline.

For different sowing dates, the measured value of the leaf area measuring instrument in each period has a certain gap. At the same time, with the delay of the sowing date, the leaf area index will naturally decrease, but the maturity of the sowing date will be delayed. Increasingly, this is mainly due to the fact that the leaves of peanuts have basically lost their ability to photosynthesis during the mature period, and therefore the leaf area will gradually decrease.
