By the end of January, Changchai Company had sold nearly 120,000 diesel engines of various types, an increase of 145.37% compared with the same period of last year. Among them, the single-cylinder machine increased by 138.12% year-on-year, and the multi-cylinder machine increased by 194.95% year-on-year. In January, diesel engines and power generation were exported. The number of units exceeds 7,000 units, and the foreign exchange earned through exports increased 1059.86% year-on-year. At present, Changchai’s production tasks in February have been fully filled. In order to meet market demand, overtime in the Spring Festival is a foregone conclusion.
At this year's economic work conference, Changchai Company established a business policy of focusing on quality and expanding the market, vigorously strengthening the construction of soft power, and earnestly enhancing the company's core competitiveness. In 2010, Changchai’s production and sales of multi-cylinder machines will exceed 150,000 units, and the foreign exchange earnings will strive to exceed US$30 million. This will lay a good foundation for Changchai’s implementation of the 12th Five-Year Plan.
