Organic raw materials
With Tianjin Petrochemical's 10 million tons of oil refining and 1 million tons of ethylene plant put into operation, the domestic production of ethylene, propylene and other organic chemical raw materials continued to rise steadily. The monthly production of ethylene is expected to exceed approximately 1.05 million tons and pure benzene reaches 450,000 tons. The price of most products rose with the international crude oil price first and then increased. Propylene, butadiene, benzene, styrene, ethylene glycol, and PTA prices increased by 9.2%, 17.5%, 16.6%, 13%, 6.9%, and 1.9%, respectively. The operating rate of the methanol plant in January was basically the same as that of last month, with an average of 47%, and the monthly production was about 1.05 million tons.
