Wulong Gold Mine

(1) Raw ore properties
Wulong Gold is a gold-bearing quartz vein ore deposits, in - in high-temperature sulfide gold-bearing quartz vein.
Metallic minerals are mainly pyrite, magnetite and natural gold. Second metallic minerals are arsenopyrite, copper ore, galena, sphalerite, bismuthinite, limonite, magnetite, chalcocite, blue copper, bismuth nature.
The main gangue of quartz (40 to 50%), all kinds of feldspar, sericite, kaolin, calcite. Secondary gangue chlorite, biotite, serpentine, apatite, hornblende, pyroxene, mica, talc, zircon, garnet and the like.
The gold in the ore is mainly composed of natural gold. The natural gold embedded in the pyrite and the quartz vein close to the sulfide is the most concentrated. It is mainly produced in three states: the first one is in the pyrite. It is in the form of small dots, and the fine gold particles have a natural gold particle size of 0.04 to 0.001 mm, a general particle size of 0.05 mm, and a large size of about 0.04 to 0.5 mm. Pyrite and pyrrhotite account for 64-82% of metal minerals and are the most valuable sulfides in the selection. In the second type, the gangue is often embedded in irregular shapes such as small droplets and milky eclipses. The third type is slender, point-like, and less secondary clay in the stibnite.
(2) Production process
The plant uses stage grinding and stage leaching process.

1. Grinding: Flotation concentrate is removed by ф9 m thick machine, overflowing and discarded. The thickener discharges through two sections of grinding operation. The first and second sections of the grinding operation adopt ф1.2×1.8 m ball mill , and the ore discharge is fed into the first ф125 mm cyclone, and the overflow enters the first stage. Two ф 125 mm cyclones, the overflow of this cyclone is fed into the first cyclone. The slurry of the first stage of leaching is subjected to a second stage of grinding. The equipment and process used are the same as in the first stage of grinding. The cyanide ore that has entered the grinding operation, the content of 400 mesh in the Wulong mining area accounts for about 60%; the content of 400 mesh in the Sidaogou mining area accounts for about 40%. The fineness of the first section of the grinding operation - the content of 400 mesh accounted for 83.6%, and the fineness of the second section of the milled product - the content of 400 mesh accounted for 91.4%.
2. Leaching: A two-stage leaching process is employed. The first section of the grinding operation cyclone overflows into three series of ф3.5×3.5 m stirred tanks, and sodium cyanide is added to the stirred tank. The leaching operation has a slurry concentration of 46.72%, a sodium cyanide concentration of 0.07 to 0.09%, a lime concentration of 0.01 to 0.023%, and a leaching time of 20 hours. The leaching rate of the first leaching operation reached 68.72%.
The second stage grinding operation cyclone overflows into the four ф3.5×3.5 m stirred tanks in the second stage of leaching, the leaching slurry concentration is 44.33%, the sodium cyanide concentration is 0.15~0.17%, and the calcium oxide concentration is 0.01. ~0.023%, leaching time 18 hours. The second stage leaching rate reached 75.44%.
3. Washing: A two-stage four-stage countercurrent washing process is employed. After the first stage of leaching, the slurry is fed into a Ñ„ 14 m single-layer thickener for washing, and the overflow (ie, the noble liquid) is fed to the replacement operation. After the second stage of leaching, the slurry is fed into a Ñ„11m three-layer thickener. The upper layer overflows as washing water and is fed into the Ñ„14m thickener. The washing water (lean liquid) is added to the lower layer. The lower layer is classified by a cyclone and overflows into the cyanide tailings dam. The solid gold content is 5.54% g/t. The cyclone grit is fed into the first stage of the Ñ„ 14 m thick machine for regrind and re-dip. The slurry concentration is 68.52%, and the solid gold content is 10.4 g/ton.
4. Replacement. A zinc wire replacement method is employed. The precious liquid is fed into the 50-meter 2 precious liquid pool. The size of each compartment of the gold cabinet is 500×750×500 mm, a total of 56 grids. The replacement time is 2 hours, and the amount of precious liquid per day is about 105 m3 . The lean liquid part is added as washing water to the lower layer of the three-layer thickener, and the rest is added to the second stage grinding operation. Gold mud contains about 15% gold grade.
(3) Technical and economic indicators
Due to the fine particle size of the gold, the plant uses two-stage grinding, two-stage leaching, and four-stage countercurrent washing process. The technical and economic indicators obtained are shown in the table below.
