When an object hits another object, the former's kinetic energy rapidly changes to the latter's deformation potential energy, and is locally concentrated at the impact. If the impact speed is high and the deformation does not extend to all of the impacted object, considerable local stress occurs at the impact, so the dynamic load is more damaging than the static load. If the load exceeds the fatigue limit and the number of repeated impacts is increased, the stress required for the damage can be reduced. Ores are generally composed of a variety of minerals, their physical properties are not the same, and sometimes very different, such as coal and coal block pyrite and gangue promoter, pegmatite and a length of beryl Stone and so on. When such ore is broken, the conditions in which the minerals are broken are different, some are broken into coarser particles, and some are finer. This phenomenon is called selective fragmentation. The root cause of selective crushing is that the mechanical properties of the minerals in the ore vary widely, but the performance of the crushing machinery also has an impact, such as the impact crusher and the self-grinding machine are more likely to produce selective crushing. Note that this phenomenon is important in the beneficiation process. For example, for ores that are more muddy than useful gangues, the dissociated fractions containing more minerals should be separated first, without having to wait for all the minerals to be ground to the same fineness, thus helping to alleviate Smash. After understanding the mechanical properties of the ore and the force application of the crusher, it is necessary to pay attention to the way the crusher is applied in accordance with the nature of the ore, in order to have a good effect.
