Introducing New Pesticides to Study Advanced Technologies and Raise the Level of New Pesticides in China

The creation of pesticides is characterized by high technology and high input. At present, foreign countries have established a relatively complete research and development system for pesticide production. At the beginning of pesticide production in China, there is a large gap between the level of technology and strength compared with foreign countries. The creation of pesticides has important strategic significance for the healthy development of agriculture in China.

Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, with the support of the International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Program, cooperates with Dow AgroSciences in the United States to make full use of the advanced new pesticide creation system of the partners and introduce and master high-throughput screening and combinatorial chemical synthesis in the field of new pesticides. Advanced technologies such as structural optimization of lead compounds of methoxy acrylates, discovery of multiple new compounds with high biological activity, of which two new methoxy acrylate compounds have entered the early stage of industrialization development, and the control effect is equivalent to or Better than foreign similar products. At the same time, the institute also applied for 29 invention patents, and China has all the intellectual property rights.

The project has played a positive role in promoting the establishment of pesticides in China by introducing, digesting and absorbing key technologies that are urgently needed in the field of pesticide production in China, accelerating the construction of a new pesticide creation system in China, and adopting training, work, and foreign experts abroad. The combination of technical guidance from China took full advantage of foreign intellectual resources, trained a group of high-level talents created by new pesticides, and improved the independent innovation capability of China's pesticide industry.
