Recently, the project of manufacturing fracturing pumps, which was listed as a science and technology project in Tianjin, has been trial-produced by Zhongcheng Machinery Manufacturing Company in Bohai Sea. The first 800 prototype completed the 150-hour bench test to meet the design requirements. The fracturing pump will also be industrialized in the near field test.
Fracturing pumps are important measures for oilfield production, such as water injection, fracturing and acidification, to increase production and recovery of oil layers. They are widely used in all oil fields in China. However, no single company in the system can manufacture fracturing pumps. In May 2007, Zhongcheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. started the project, designing and combining with the latest technological achievements in the development of fracturing pumps at home and abroad. The fracturing pump developed is a five-cylinder horizontal single acting piston pump which is mainly composed of a power end and a hydraulic Side composition. The company will develop a series of five types of fracturing pumps, recently completed two sets of 800 fracturing pumps.
