Recently, the global tire replacement expert Cooper Tire announced that it has appointed Mr. Xiao Gan as deputy general manager of Cooper Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Co., Ltd., and this appointment has taken effect on January 1.
Mr. Xiao Gan took over from the position of former Deputy General Manager Mr. Li Zhongtao, who will serve in other positions in the Chengshan Group. Since the establishment of the joint venture in 2006, Mr. Li Zhongtao has made significant contributions to the success of the company with his outstanding leadership ability. In the future, Mr. Li Zhongtao will also serve in an area that can help the company.
After his appointment, Mr. Xiao Qian will be responsible for all the operations related to manufacturing and sales. He reports directly to Mr. Zhou Shiping, General Manager of Cooper Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Co., Ltd. Mr. Xiao Qian has 21 years of working experience in the tire industry. The company believes that he will be able to promote the business development of the company and gradually achieve and exceed the established business objectives in accordance with the strategic guidelines formulated by the board of directors. Mr. Xiao Qian will also work together with Mr. Zhou Shiping to improve the company's organizational structure and try to strengthen the sales department's work in the coming months.
In the past two years, Mr. Xiao Qian served as Sales and Marketing Director of Cooper Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Co., Ltd. Before he was responsible for sales work in 2002, Mr. Xiao Qian also held several management positions in the Chengshan Group. During the Asian financial tsunami in 2009, Cooper Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Co., Ltd. still recorded a record sales performance under the efforts of Mr. Xiao Qian.
Mr. Xiao Gan received his bachelor's degree from Qingdao Institute of Architecture and Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Canberra.
Cooper Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Co., Ltd. is located in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province and is one of Cooper's two major joint ventures in China.
