China National Heavy Duty Truck Group's first 500 HOWO-A7 tractors have recently been shipped to Qingdao Port and are expected to arrive at Cabello Port, Venezuela on May 20th. This is the first time China has exported heavy trucks to Venezuela.
Earlier this year, CNHTC and Venezuela’s National Oil Company signed a contract for the export of 750 tanker semitrailers and 750 HOWO-A7 tractors.
According to another report, China National Heavy Duty Truck and Qingdao Port Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in April 2008. As of the end of April 2009, China National Heavy Duty Truck has sent more than 5,600 vehicles for the company.
