The technology has obtained national invention patent authorization and owns independent intellectual property rights. However, at present, the technology still remains at the theoretical stage and has not actually been put into production. Prof. He said that he is in contact with some processing companies in the near future and hopes to truly integrate technology research and development with industrialization.
Looking at the current plastics processing industry, conventional plastics molding methods can process almost all kinds of plastic products, but for some products with special shapes, using existing methods may not be the most cost-effective, such as in fittings. Compared to these commonly used molding methods, plastic extrusion and expansion molding has the following advantages:

2. The processed material does not produce phase change, and the molding process can usually be performed at a lower temperature with less energy.
3. It is suitable for the production of products with large differences in cross-sectional dimensions, and has strong cross-sectional dimensions for products;
4, the control system is relatively simple, process control is very flexible, by controlling the extrusion stroke, using the same pair of molds, it is possible to get different sizes of products;
5. Can make full use of the high productivity and low cost of extruded parisons;
6, in the case of smaller production volumes, can greatly reduce production costs and so on.
