A few days ago, MacGregor deck equipment received two new orders. One of the contracts was to design and deliver hatchback steel structures and core components for six 14,000 TEU container ships, which are currently being built by an undisclosed Japanese shipowner by the Japan Shipbuilding Federation (JMU) Wu Shipyard. It will be delivered in 2016-2018 to serve the Far East and Europe routes. 
It is reported that another contract was signed with Guangzhou Shunhai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. to deliver anchor handling/towing winch bags for five 48-meter-long three-purpose workboats (AHTS) and one 40-meter-long AHTS. The shipowner of this ship is an unnamed Middle East shipowner. It is expected that the first ship will be delivered in December this year and the remaining ships will be delivered before the third quarter of 2016.
