Leading ship VOLC key technology research leading domestically

Guangzhou Science and Technology and Information Technology Bureau recently organized the identification of scientific and technological achievements of the “Key Technology Research of 230,000 DWT Super Large Ore Ships”. The appraisal committee believes that the overall technology of the project undertaken by Longxue Shipbuilding has reached the domestic leading level, and it has been identified and recommended for further promotion and application.
The appraisal committee pointed out that the ship type is the first large-scale ore ship that was independently developed, designed and constructed in China, and was awarded the 2010 global classic ship type. Longxue Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. uses advanced three-dimensional finite element analysis to optimize the weight of the empty ship and ensure the overall performance of the ship and the service life of the ship. Through the construction of key process technology research, the rational division of the segmentation section, and the first use of the oil separator room module, the segmentation construction efficiency and the pre-assembly rate are improved. The double-wire CO2 horizontal welding technology has been developed to improve the welding efficiency, and the application rate of high-efficiency welding technology is over 97%. In the study of the superstructure integrity hoisting, the finite element analysis method is used to optimize the position of the lifting point, and the deformation amount in the hoisting process is well controlled. The research on the new coating process of ballast tanks was carried out in a forward-looking manner, and the related technologies of ballast tank coating were mastered.
The 11 ships that have been delivered have created significant economic and social benefits and have good prospects for promotion.
