According to Alewijnse Marine Systems, a contract was awarded for the delivery of a complete Raytheon Anschütz bridge system to a newly built 8250dwt cargo ship at the Bodewes shipyard in the Netherlands.
It is reported that the complete system delivered by Alewijnse includes X and S-band radar, 2 sets of ECDIS, autopilot and rotating compass. The whole system is also equipped with VDR, Alewijnse AIS and Thrane GMDSS. The new ship is expected to be delivered in November 2012 and the shipowner will ship for Nescos.
