Recently, BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan and recalled the following vehicles, a total of 5,829 vehicles.
(1) From June 1, 2018, a total of 66 imported BMW M5 vehicles will be recalled from December 14, 2017 to March 26, 2018.
(2) From June 29, 2018, part of the imported BMW 550i, 650i, 750Li, 760Li, X5, X6, Mini Cooper S and labor will be recalled from September 22, 2008 to November 19, 2011. Syros Ghost vehicles, a total of 5,763 vehicles.
Some of the vehicles in the above range (1) have errors in the engine control unit due to manufacturing reasons, and the fuel pump may stop running under certain driving conditions. It may cause the engine to stop running while the vehicle is running, posing a safety hazard. BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will re-program the engine control unit of the affected vehicle for free to eliminate safety hazards. Stock vehicles will be sold after eliminating defects.
Some of the vehicles in the above range (2) may be aging and an internal short circuit may occur due to design reasons. In some cases, the pump circuit board may be overheated and melted, which increases the risk of causing the vehicle to catch fire and presents a safety hazard. BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will replace the improved auxiliary water pump assembly for the affected vehicles for free to eliminate safety hazards.
