According to data released by Audi recently, its global sales in October this year were 146,200 units, compared with 131,957 units in October last year, an increase of 10.8% year-on-year.
SUVs and compact cars such as the Audi A3, Audi Q3 and Audi Q5 are key to growth. From January to October, Audi's global sales increased by 10.1% year-on-year, from 1,312,705 vehicles to 1,444,900 units.
In the Chinese market, Audi's sales in October rose by 41.0% year-on-year to 48,108 units from 41,117 units. From January to October, sales from 399,330 units climbed 16.1% year-on-year to 463,812 units.
